John WilliamPORTERCaptain RN Aged 64, died peacefully on May 14th following a long and courageous fight against mesothelioma, endured with his customary fortitude and indomitable sense of humour. Beloved husband of Carolyn, proud and loving father to Roderick, Lucy and Rupert and a devoted gramps to his six grandchildren. The funeral will take place at the Parish Church of St. James the Great, Kilkhampton, North Cornwall at 2.30pm on May 23rd, followed by private family cremation at Barnstaple.
